The Washington Apple Commission (WAC) is currently accepting applications for a summer intern.
Where: Washington Apple Commission located in Wenatchee, WA.
When: Mid-May through July (dates somewhat flexible).
Requirements: WAC would prefer an incoming college sophomore or junior with an interest in agriculture.
Pay rate: $10-$12 per hour for approximately 8-10 weeks.

The internship will encompass:
Learning to work within an office setting and work on specific targeted projects including our Children's Web site, PowerPoint presentations, development of a new photo gallery storage database and other general office responsibilities.
Additionally, it is our intention to introduce the intern to all aspects of the Washington apple industry. Tours of packing facilities, orchard visits and involvement with industry organizations including WAC board meetings.
