The Washington Apple Commission (WAC) was established in 1937 as a grower-funded, promotional organization representing the Washington apple industry.
WAC now has representatives and marketing programs in 24 countries/regions world-wide. These include:
Mexico/Central America, Canada, Taiwan, Middle East (Dubai, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt), Hong Kong/China, Indonesia, United Kingdom, India, Colombia/Venezuela, Russia, Malaysia/Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Western Europe.
Export marketing support (including stock photography, posters, bins and other point-of-sale materials) is available to help promote Washington apples.
More extensive activities such as consumer sampling and co-operative advertising are available in markets where the WAC has programs.
